fuck me blind ...

Spent the majority of the day writing that fucking fic instead of doing what I needed to get done. HAD to finish it tonight so it would be out of my system and I could concentrate on what MUST get done. Rat beta-ed it, then I sent copies to Joules and Talon and posted it at Saiyan Slash. Whew! That's done!

Made J Muse and T Muse laugh, which was pleasing. First fic jitters, ya know.

Might even post fic on the website one of these years, although I have absolutely no clue WHERE! I had made NO provisions for ANY fics in the current design. Pfftttt, something to think about, much much later.....

Gonna HAVE to put my foot down on my creative urge and get to the necessary evils NOW. While I cannot give up beta-reading for Talon I definitely am going to have to stop everything else until I get the class website and the ecampus site set up and running smoothly. Perhaps... no, I doubt I will be able to get GohanXSage pic done in time before Talon finishes the prose so they can be posted together. The pic snippet may have to be sufficient for the time being. I HATE doing it, but I just HAVE to get to the class stuff because the semester begins MONDAY!!!!! DBZ sucked out my brain last November and I just cannot let it control me anymore, at least not until I get my extremely pressing work done. It will have to be turned into a reward for while. If I wasn't having to revamp over half of my content I would not be up such a shit creek.

After the sonogram later today I need to fill out package damage paperwork and take it to the post office.

Then I MUST install Photoshop 7 and get to it. I have something like 25 pages of tutorials and information sheets to re-do just in Photoshop.

And I have SO much shit to get to at work before classes begin on Monday. Had planned on getting to some of it today but it didn't happen. The bosses needed me for lots of things.

I will be working at least a 12 to 13-hour day on Thursday, preparing all day for then attending the Faculty Convocation in the evening. Afterward is the Faculty breakout session and I need to be there to pass out all the paperwork and textbooks to the instructors. Even when I was not faculty I had to attend this meeting since I am the person who keeps the instructors up-to-date on all the processes and policies.

Then Friday we all are required to show up at oh-dawn-thirty for the campus-wide Convocation. It has always pissed me off the shindig has always begun before the usual time most of the offices opened. Most of the main offices open at 8:30am. The Multimedia Office opens at 9am. But now, the convocation organizers want you there for sign-in and breakfast at seven fucking thirty am and be ready to go into the meeting around 8:15am. I think this year I am going to complain with the official complaint form. Breakfast at 9am next year, thank you! You can cut all the blah blah blah, get to the meat of the meeting and still be out at the same time as scheduled in the past.

After Convocation we have to drag our tired carcasses to the department luncheon. After the luncheon we all go back to our offices, supposedly to have a dept. meeting. Our workgroup just sits around and blinks stupidly at each other because we all had to get up way too early after having had been up late the night before.

Agh, eyes burn.
